I am a writing and music nut. I spend all of my time thinking about music and story plots. In my spare time I am picking my guitar, pounding songs out on my piano, writing songs, poems, or working on my first novel. (Other than political articles, I have never had anything published. YET!) I am very politically inclined. I believe that we owe something to our community and we shouldn-Ãt stick our heads in the sand and expect someone else to fix all of our problems. I love volunteering, especially when I get to work with , the elderly, or animals. I am artistic, conservative, easygoing, flexible, open-minded, flirtatious, playful, sensitive, nurturing, loving, outgoing, self-confident, simple, and spiritual. I enjoy spending as much time as possible in or around the water. I enjoy dining out. I like American, Cajun, Southern, Chinese, Pizza, Greek, Mexican, and Seafood. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I enjoy intimate conversations, reading and writing, traveling, adventure, movies, and some television. I enjoy listening to and playing music, Country Music, Big Band, Swing, Blues, Christian & Gospel, Class Rock-n-Roll, Classical, Easy Listening, Folk, Jazz, Oldies, and Instrumentals. My idea of a relationship is two people making a life together, sharing a home and a family. Two people who are sensitive to each others needs and wants, sharing life with no head games or baggage. I have learned from the past that I want to be who I am. I want to speak my mind. I don-Ãt want to sleep with someone that I don-Ãt know. I want to know that person, what their favorite color is, their favorite book, their favorite song, their philosophy of life. I want to end the night with a good night hug and kiss, and hopefully-Ã I don-Ãt want to pretend that I like something that I don-Ãt. I don-Ãt want to wear my hair long, I like it short. I don-Ãt want to wear a specific type or color of clothing. I just want to be me.
My Ideal Person
I am a one man woman looking for a one woman man. I am looking for a man who has similar interests and beliefs. I am somewhat of a contradiction, I am a sensitive woman who is sentimental and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, yet I am a modern day woman who is independent, who is politically minded, has her own set of beliefs, and enjoys working. I am looking for someone who likes spending time with me, along with family and friends. An educated, intellectual, career and family oriented man, who is a non-smoker. A man who is interested in getting to know the real me, someone who wants to get to know who I really am. A person who enjoys the simple pleasures of life, who is sensitive and sincere. Someone who is committed to God, family, dogs, and children.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am a baptized believer in Jesus Christ. I believe that he is the son of the living God. That he died on the cross to wash away our sins. That our mission in life is to spread his word to our fellow man.
My faith is extremely important to me, and has been my source of salvation more than once in my life. I have went through so many ups and downs in life that I'm not sure where I would be today if it weren't for God intervening in my life.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I am almost certain to get the verse number mixed up on this one. But I believe it is Isaiah 40:10 "Fear thou not for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God and I will uphold....
This may sound repetitive but I really enjoy reading Psalms 23, but I like the King James version not the New International.
I have many others that are too numberous to list.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Dating today is like an extraterrestrial experience. People don't want to really be who they are, instead they want to present this false persona. Typically all dating is, is a dance that most want to end in some sort of sexual experience and then move onto the next person. This is such a sad aspect of modern dating. People just blindy wading their way through life. I am looking to have a real relationship with someone who believes in God, who has been born again in the blood of Christ. What is the point of being with someone that your not going to see on the other side??? Modern dating leaves so much to be desired. People are such intricate creatures, that we are missing the most important aspects of life.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Brookston, Indiana. I live down the street from where I grew up. I had a wonderful childhood. My Grandma lived in the country and had a wonderful time running, jumping, and playing amoung the trees and leaves. My favorite place that I ever visted was Hawaii. I was in my early teens when we went, but I have always wanted to go back. There is so much history to absorb, so many beautiful sights to see, along with great beaches and a fantastic ocean view. My parents have a place in Florida and I love spending time there wondering on the beach. I love the water, and the ocean is the ultimate trip.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I enjoy doing volunteer work. Whether it is through my local church or outside of it. The church I grew up in closed a few years ago and I just recently switched my membership to the church that my father grew up in. So, I haven't had the opportunity yet to really get myself involved to the hilt. As long as I am doing something for my community, working with the elderly, children, or animals I am a happy camper.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I have never been an early riser, or much of a morning person. I get up, take my bath, eat my breakfast, nake my bed, and play with my dog. I go to work, then I come home. In the evenings I either spend time with my family or friends. I watch some television, but it certainly lacks imagination lately. Before I go to bed I make my breakfast and lunch for the next day, do a load of laundry, do the dishes, and lay out my clothes. I spend a lot of time playing with my dog. Most evenings I am either picking on my guitar or pounding out a song on my piano. Sometimes I spend the evening writing.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I have by no means reached the spiritual pinnacle of my life. I still want to grasp more. My current goal is bible study. I mean I read it, but I have this intense burning desire to understand it at a deeper level. I also want to get more involved in my new church. Particulary with the youth group and missions. On a personal note I am still looking for that special someone to share my life with. I am also working on a novel, and have several others in the works. I hope to someday be published.
