Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I strive to make Christ number one in my life. There are a lot of things that try to compete, but by His grace I am in wonderful relationship with Him. As far as denomination. I don't subscribe to one. I believe in the Word, and follow its teachings. My relationship with Christ is what is important, not man-made religion.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Plainly put...how can a man that doesn't know Christ love me like Christ loves the church. And how can a woman truly respect and be submissive to a man if they don't know Christ.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in New Jersey, but spent a lot of time in Philadelphia (birth place). I traveled a lot in college due to track and field. I have never been out of the US. It's sad...I know. I am not too fond of flying, but am no longer willing to allow that to keep me from seeing some of the beautiful places God has created. I love the DC metropolitan area. I attended school in MD, and loved it!

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Within church: singing, dancing, working with the youth, teaching. Outside of church: I find it hard to sit down sometimes :), therefore I like to take part in physical activities. I enjoy dancing (african, latin, belly), skating, bowling, sports (pretty much any kind). On the calmer side, I like to go to museums, poetry readings, open mics, concerts, etc. I almost never go without my journal and sketch book. Inspiration hits at the craziest times.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My day changes from day to day. However, there are some staple things that happen daily. Prayer, reading and praise. I always check email and make my rounds on the particular web sites that I subscribe to. Depending on the particular projects that I am working on, it's either paiting or making jewelry. Journalling, and thinking of ways to better the program that I manage, all happen in the course of the day.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personal: Open an art gallery. Become so financially sound that I am able to give without thinking twice. Spiritual goals: Continue to nurture my relationship with Christ...becoming the woman that He desires for me to be. To use my gifts freely with the intentions of helping others, and advancing His kingdom.
