First and foremost, my son is my number two priority, after God only. Any man I become involved with must appreciate that.
I am very active in my church. More than that, though, I have given my life to Christ and am asking Him daily to shape me into the person He wants me to be. By denomination, I'm Southern Baptist and prefer my partner be also. I think that common beliefs are essential for a successful relationship.
Through my darkest hours of going through my marital problems, He has assured me that it is all for a reason, that He has someone very special out there for me. That being said, I also realize I do not need a man to complete me. I just want someone to share my life with and my son's and I will love and welcome any children you have.
I am kind-hearted and loving. All I want is to find a man to first be my friend and we'll see where it goes from there, but the ultimate goal is to find a man who is growing in Christ and will love me as much as I do him and who I will share the rest of my life with.

Any man I come to be involved with must understand and accept that I will maintain contact with my ex's family. I have a 23-yr-old stepdaughter (and 1-yr-old granddaughter) I talk to regularly as well as other members of his family. I didn't divorcing them; just my husband.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Jesus is my Rock, my Shelter, my very present help in time of need. I want others to see Jesus in my life.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I will not be unequally yoked. My marriage was to a supposed believer but he turned his back on Christ, and instead of lifting him up, I allowed myself to get drug down. I don't want that to ever happen again. I want a relationship where we can grow together in Christ. I do NOT want to fall away from Christ and I don't want any relationship to come in the way of my walk with Christ.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Grew up in Tulsa, OK. Love visiting NYC and Vegas - I love the white tigers of Siegfried and Roy's.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Reading Christian fiction, spending time with my son and niece.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
The book "Divine" by Karen Kingsbury talks about Christians having "Jesus eyes." I want anyone who meets me to be able to see my "Jesus eyes." The good Lord has a lot of work in me to get me to that point, but I know He is faithful!
