I am a Christian lady who has grown chidren. My faith is primary and central to my life and I enjoy serving others. Love friends and talking and being with them. My family is most important to me. However, my are on their own and doing well in life. I still have my parents for which I am very blessed. I enjoy learning for learning sake. Like to cook, sew, grow garden, my PC, Internet, UT Lady Vols, nature, plays, music, picnics, dancing, mountains, and quiet times at home. I have had a good career and approaching retirement and look forward to more time for friends and activities. People say I am kind and loving. I love thinking and interesting people and good kind people. I like to share life and work. I enjoy warm honest loving relationships where there is mutual sharing and respect. I do not waste time on mean unkind people demading loud people that want to to control others.
My Ideal Person
I am looking for a kind loving sharing Christian who has lots of common sense and is comforatable with himself and who he is. One you loves to serve others. In his friendships knows how to share and work together and is mindful of others per their needs and can express his needs. One who is not selfish but generous and kind. One who can admit a mistake. One who is honest and kind. One who knows how to give and to recieve. One who puts GOd first in his life and strives to improve each day his realationship with God and others. A believer in Jesus Christ. One whose faith is seen in action.
Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Believe Jesus Christ is God's son. Central to my being and life. Fellowship with other Christians.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Eph 2.. We are God's workmanship to go good works that He has prepared for us to do. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strenght. Lover your neighnor as yourself.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Christianity is first in my life and a Christian relationship supports what is primary and should be the best of all relationships. The quality of Christian life together is the best life.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
In rural middle Tennessee. Most of the United States, especically the West. Traveled to europe. National parks and learning about other places and how people live.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Hearing good spiritual lessons. Working as group to help others in need of help. Encouraging others. Helping those you are in need especially with meals. Listening to others and their needs and concerns. I enjoy a variety of activities. UT Lady Vol basketball, square dance, dancing, gardening, cooking, talking and talking. Learning how to do things. Good dinners and visiting with friends. Quiet times.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Get up and get ready and go the work where I have a computer systems job. Join friends for dinner or shop. Check my garden or sew. Enjoy email exchange and inforatmion internet. Do the normal grocery shopping, cooking, watch some TV, especailly home shows. I visit my parents about once a month.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Become kinder and encourage others to be better people and encourage them to be Christians. Grow old with Christian relationships.
