As a Spirit-filled committed Christian woman in her late fifties, never married and still open to the idea of a Mr. Right, but really not in need of anyone. I enjoy the company of other people, good food at home or out, and being involved with family, friends, and church. Jesus Christ is my LORD and Life Partner. I enjoy being involved in Christian teaching and outreach, being an example of a living faith. PERSONALITY TRAITS: As a strong independent woman, who also enjoys being an incurable romantic, I am intelligent, a counselor at heart (psychology buff), industrious Proverbs 31 woman, humorous, hospitable, compassionate, adventurous, complex, demonstrative, cautious, creative, gentle, loyal, resourceful, dependable, playful, good communicator, considerate, and warm. I’m emotionally balanced, and I don't like arguing. HOBBIES/INTERESTS: Mechanical/Electrical: I like fixing things/tinkering (handy woman), I'll keep the house running in good repair, and change the oil in the car, and help you do the rest. Domestic Goddess: Keeping a home, cooking, organizing, decorating, sewing, crafts, and gardening (roses, carnations, status flower, and vegetables). I play a little acoustical guitar and I can play beginning piano. I really love music. I enjoy writing as an anointed creative writer: stories, poems, essays, etc. I enjoy long walks with long talks, picnics, barbecues, family & friends, driving to new places(across country, sight-seeing), camping (the tent, sleeping bag, portapotee, etc.), and the RV trip. I used to fish--it's been so long, I forgot how! I like walking trails, but I wouldn’t call me much of a hiker (up mountains, etc.) but I'll do what I can. I'm open to your ideas. I like dancing. I used to do two-step, but I've gotten rusty without a partner. I learned that in a Christian dance camp a few years ago.
My Ideal Person:
SEEKING: A completely single Caucasian Male, 54 - 63 yrs., Spirit-filled (speaking in tongues), in a committed relationship with Jesus Christ; active in his church. Hopefully, you are not carrying excess baggage from past relationships ( I don't really want to be compared with someone else from your past). Someone who passionate about music (who may play an instrument), art, live theater, movies, long walks, conversation, sharing time together in the kitchen, just enjoys life and people. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Gentle cuddly teddy bear, good communicator (exchanging ideas), best friend, intelligent, humorous (witty), patient, slow to anger, respectful, non-argumentative, emotionally balanced with a positive self image, but not arrogant. HOBBIES/INTERESTS: Creative, good with your hands, your unique talents; a wide variety of interests.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My Christian faith has made me the woman I am today. I am a woman of spiritual substance. I can say I am and have been blessed abundantly with Heavenly riches. The richness of excellence in character, integrity, virtue, wisdom, and inner strength. I know the value of Biblical principals and good teaching in life lessons. I know the power of a prayer life. I have been able withstand difficult trials with my head up. Then be a friend to hurting soul along life’s journey. “The Lord is my refuge, my rock, and my deliverer.” I enjoy sharing my faith with others, but I will share it appropriately.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
"Give and it shall be given to you, pressed down, shaken, with measure and running over!" "My God SHALL supply all your need through his riches in Christ Jesus." "I can do all things through Christ Jesus, who strengthens me." "God has not give us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind."
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
The Bible tells us to be at peace with all men. You can’t do that if you are “unequally yoked.” Marriage is a spiritual (the deepest kind of relationship), emotional, as well as a physical relationship with a human being. I enjoy the intimacy of a spiritual relationship with my partner. Sharing the Word of God and praying together has such a special meaning. I have found that the differences I may have with my partner are better handled with a spiritual life. I believe the Bible puts the real meaning of ROMANCE back into our human/spiritual relationships. Try reading the Song of Solomon.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Los Angeles, Oregon, back to Los Angeles. I have traveled in the past to Texas and recently to Utah for the first time going through Reno, Nevada.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I attend a very large church that has many programs both for the church members and the community. I enjoy helping the volunteers of our church’s Food Pantry give out food each week to church members. At a storage company I rent from, there many useable discards I secure for pick up. We have a very large warehouse that gives these things away for free to those in need. The other favorite things include hanging out with friends and doing things on the spur of moment.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
It varies. The registry calls me a 4:30 a.m. to see if I am available and then confirms my appointment with a hospital for 7 a.m. I am sent to 2 or 3 different hospitals they are affiliated with. I usually do either an eight hour shift at a care center or a twelve hour shift at a regular hospital. I get off between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. I am usually exhausted, my feet hurt, and I am hungry. I go to storage to figure out what I need from the closet. I sleep in my car (the cost of living in my area is very high). I have friends who are trying to change this (God bless them). I go and get something to eat, shower at the gym, and hit the sack. I am independent, functional, flexible, and kept busy. Because I am on call, I work on some weekends with some days off during the week. I just never know until 4:30 a.m. each day. I still manage to find enough chores to cram something into seven days a week. This is a hard exsistence and not for the faint at heart. I been extremely blessed with some wonderful people in my life and the Lord has opened doors that were impossible for me. Education is the only way to change all of this and at my age it is not easy. I don't have the same energy I had when I was younger. I still have the same ambition, plenty of experiences I didn't have before (which come with great wisdom) and that counts for a lot. I just have to figure out how to channel my time and the energy I do have to the maximum. It may take some inordinate circumstances to change my present situation. Nothing is impossible for God! I have the faith! God made the poor rich in faith! I can rejoice in the Lord, because all things work together for good and for that love God and are called. I keep a smile on my face.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Having a home, teaching Bible studies, counseling and mentoring others. Continuing my education, exploring using my gifts and talents to greater heights, meeting someone special, and traveling.
