almost 50, single female, no , just getting back into the world // I am almost 50, a born again Christian, that has right now work and church that keeps me busy. I am quiet usually, and like things that have meaning to me. I like reading, cooking, taking walks, the ocean and the beach, watching birds, healthy cooking and find medical info. and healthy suggestions. Always like the flea markets/yard sales/tag events. I have never been married and have no . I have gone through a tough time with some medical issues, and a major surgery to regain walking again. I overcame that. I had a gastric bypass in Nov. 2004 and have reclaimed my life there also. Guess you could say I am a work in progress. I do struggle each day with my faith, but I do see I am getting better at it. I am also a hospice volunteer. I haven't dated in 12 years and am really a novice at this. I love flowers and birds and am looking forward to the nice weather and seeing all the beauty that the summer brings. I don't drink, smoke, or use drugs, and believe in a very simple life. Just want to be happy and content with male friendship. Good friends are very important to me. I am a homebody, and don't always need to go places and do. Quiet times are great.
