My co-workers tell me I am a likeable person, since people rarely dislike me that appears to be true. I have all of the usual Boy Scout attributes, but the most outstanding quality I posess is my ability to see beauty no matter what the situation. I consider this to be a very, special gift from God which I treasure and nuture. My favorite music is classical and chant is at the top of that list. I am an avid gardener and love to read and write stories. I have two kitties who purr all the time (really non-stop) so I must be doing something right on that score.I work for a company with 90 stores and I work in their number one showroom and have been there for several years. I am in commission sales so I suppose that means I have courage. I was the first woman to join the company and stay. I am working on my seventh year right now. I love what I do and am fortunate that I work with a group of really, terrific men. The down side is that the hours are brutal.My relationship with God is my first priority in life. I feel that if I don't maintain my communication with my Creator then I am lost and nothing else in my life can fall into place properly. I am a very conservative Catholic from the old school. I suppose that may put many people off, but better to share that up front. Before I joined my company I was a licensed, massage therapist and worked for myself. I could set my own hours so I was able to attend daily mass in the morning and start my day on the right foot. I loved it and I miss daily mass terribly. I am also politically conservative and I believe in the traditional role of women and am very happy to be one. We hold society together; it's too bad most women have forgotten that. Our country would be in much better shape if that notion had not been lost in the sixties with the liberation movement.I don't like crowds, stores and shopping. I do like fine dinning, concerts, plays, walks in the park and seeing new sites.
My Ideal Person
I am looking for a marriage partner who will be just that. A partner. I am hoping to meet a man who views life as a journey and wants me to join him. Respect, loyality, honesty, kindness and courtesy are an absolute must in any man I would consider as a partner; and a good sense of humor must be added to my list. Wealth, fame and beauty are of no interest to me; a good person is my main concern.
Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My relationship with God is the most important part of my life. Without that relationship I do not believe my life would be on the right track.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I would be hard pressed to narrow my favorites to one or two.If I tried to answer this question specifically I would end up writing a book.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I would like to share all of my life with my partner. Since God plays an important role in my life I would like to be able to experience this with a partner.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in New York and Maryland. I have also lived in France and Egypt. I have visited many countries in Europe and the British Isles as well as Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica and over half of the United States. I love to be in the country anywhere.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Prayer, meditation and Benediction.I like to read and write and go online and garden.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Unfortunately right now I work twelve hour days. So my routine is church, work, grocery store, home. Over and over.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My goals in life are all interrelated. Growth. Spiritual and temporal. To be the best I can be with the gifts that God has bestowed upon me.
