I have been a widow for about a year and half now. I am a guiet person but can speak out when I feel the Lord leading me to. I do not have any problem speaking in front of groups of people. I love to sing and teach about Jesus. I have been a Christian since I was a small . I have grown in Christ as I have grown in physical body. I was raised in the Great Northwest USA. My father was a Baptist Pastor. He was a Church Planter, so we moved often. My mother was a "stay-at-home" mom, who spent her time and energy serving the Lord and others. I couldn't have asked for better parents. I always wanted that type of marriage. I had it, but now I realize I'll never be married for 50 or more years to the same man. (I don't expect for the Lord to wait that long before he returns, and if he did wait, I'm not sure I would want to live to be that old.) I have always been told that my dancing eyes and my contagious smile were my two best physical features. I think what is on the inside is far more important. I am fearfully and wonderfully made by the creator of all, how can I complain? How can you? Of course I realize that God made us each different, therefore we are each attracted to different things in others. If it were not so, we would have even a more difficult time meeting and choose the partner that the Lord would have for us. Trust me, it's hard enough as it is!! I no longer pay for this site, so I'm unable to response to winks and read e-mails. I have recently started my own business making custom jewerly, my business is called Beadystuff by VJ. My Ideal Person
I am looking for someone who loves the Lord as much, if not more than I do. Someone to take the spiritual leadership role, so we can both grow closer to the Lord and in doing so we can grow closer to each other. Someone who knows that just because we are Christians it doesn't mean we won't make mistakes along the way, and is willing to forgive and move on. Someone who excepts me for who I am and doesn't always seek ways to improve me. I'm not prefect, that is obvious, who is? But pray for me, love me anyway, and let GOD do the improvements. OKAY? In other words I need someone who will not spend their time telling my what to do, say and how to dress. I am a grown women, I already know such things. I want to be submissive to my husband, not dominated by him.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Jesus is the only reason I live! With everything I do or say,I think "What would glorify the Lord the most in this situation?" "How would what you are doing help or hurt others?"

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Proverbs 15:1 "A soft answer turneth away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger." I think of myself as a PeaceMaker.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Any relationship not based on the Lord is just two misguided people struggling to find their way. It is just to hard!! The Lord is the common denominator that makes everything turn out right no matter how rough the road.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
As I stated earlier, I grew up in the NorthWest USA. I have traveled a lot, but would love to see more of this world someday. My favorite places would be the mountains, in a cabin, with small stream gruggling past under a walking bridge out back.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Singing without a doubt(not saying I'm good). Next would be being creative in some manner, teaching crafts to kids, or making a baby blanket for an expectant mother.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Get up, have some quiet time with the Lord, get dressed for work, go to work, go to water aeorbics, go home and crochet while watching TV and relaxing. Go to Bed and start the next day.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to be whatever, wherever, and with whomever, the Lord directs me to be.
