My Ideal Person
I'm looking for a man who is strong and stable in his relationship with the Lord - a man who knows or wants to know the Bible, and desires to follow it.
I'm attracted to the strong yet gentle type, worldly-wise and communicative; someone who will let me have my space but also make sure he's in my face; playful, romantic, who realizes the need and has the ability to
nurture and cherish a relationship. I appreciate a man who is able to give direction and encouragement; a man who is secure with his financial situation and would be happy for me to take care of the home and him full time, but also happy if I pursued money-making interests.
Along with all the above I desire a man who would communicate his love and affection daily. Such a man would win my respect, adoration, and devotion.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Jesus is the center of my life. He is very real to me and has a strong hold on my life. I have walked with him since I was 15 years old and have been tested and tried. 37 years of experience show me that nothing and no one can turn me away from the Truth and the path of Life that He has set me on. The Bible is my guide, I read daily (normally) and intend to follow whatever it says, in whatever way I can implement it in my life. I realize my faith is not my own, it is a the faith of Jesus Christ that He has graciously given to me and I have to obey Him to continue to be blessed by Him. Part of that obedience involves fellowship with other Christians and submiting to a God appointed ministry. My faith has been developed by such and is a very important part of my life which I want a potential partner to be willing to explore.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
The whole Bible is important. Some favorites are John 14 where the Lord says if we love him we will keep His Word and He and the Father will come and make their abode with us. John 6 about Jesus as the bread of life is wonderful and shows an important principle of living by the Bread of Life by feeding on His Word. John 7:38 is so special because that verse continually leads me on into deeper relationship with the Lord. There's so much more. I love the Bible!

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
What fellowship has light with darkness? How can two walk together except they agree? There are so many differences between 2 people, so many problems that could come up. Considering that, the only way I could feel secure and confident that a relationship will stand all the trials to come, is that my partner also has a strong committment to the Lord, His Word, and a God-called ministry.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Southern California. I've lived in Rhode Island, Boston,the Bay area, and briefly in Alaska and Arizona. Favorite places to visit are determined by family and friends, they are more important than the place. But it has been a dream to have a romantic honeymoon somewhere like Hawaii or the Caribbean.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
At church I love worship - singing songs to the Lord, remembering His goodness, loving Him with all my heart and soul. Hearing His Word is just as wonderful. Sitting around a table of six after service, fellowshipping, is also a highlight of church activities. Outside I enjoy exploring and short hikes into any beautiful or interesting parts of nature. I haven't explored too much of this world because I don't like doing it alone. I look forward to being with a man who would like to introduce me to all I've missed or who would just like to learn and explore this world together during a period of dating.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Ideally I start and end the day with Bible reading, then shower and dress (including make up! - even if I see no one I still care about looking good for myself) and prepare some fresh nutritious foods. Presently I'm caring for my mom full time. Throughout the day I enjoy learning new things on the Internet, talking with friends and family, exercising, tending to my garden, cleaning house, and watching the news, H>V, Discovery Health or a good movie....Normally I meet with my Christian family on Tuesday and Thursday nights and most of Sunday.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
A personal goal is to learn how to improve my health and others. Also, I've been working on learning to invest in real estate. My spiritual goal is to fully return to my first love, Jesus, and have the close intimate realization of Him as I did the first 13 years of my walk with Him.
