I am affectionate, like to cook, entertain friends and family, LOVE being outdoors. I have no desire to boss a man around or control finances...too much trouble. I'll be willing to relocate for the right man. (P.S. Can clean fish!!!!)
My Ideal Person:
I value a dry sense of humor, high intelligence, someone who enjoys doing things for God, and has a kind heart for the poor. A solid, practical, passionate man who will sing "My Girl" to me (even off-key!). Backrubs a definite plus! Please, love the outdoors and be very affectionate, and you'll have my heart!! Oh, by the way, I like nice legs.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I have a strong faith in God, have daily devotions, and actually have had some really neat miracles happen in my life.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I've read through the Bible 7 times, but I can't quote a verse exactly because I've read and memorized in so many different versions. I have several verses I like, but probably my all-time high is from Hababbuk 3:17-19. Praising God NO MATTER WHAT!
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
What could be better that having a friend, lover, and prayer partner all rolled into one? It would be great to share some of my adventures with a man who understands and trusts God's leading.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Vincennes, IN. I've traveled around the world, but have no favorite places. I remember mostly experiences. Camping with Granny and Gramps along the Wabash River. Having a prayer service at dawn on top of a mountain, watching the landscape emerge around me as the mists evaporate. Playing in a crashing surf, the rain stinging my shoulders during a tropical storm. Singing "Amazing Grace" in a foreign country while those around me are singing of His love in a different language. Feeding emaciated drunks and addicts late at night in an inner-city mission and giving their thin, filthy bodies a warm welcome, a big hug and a hot cup of coffee. My life is good.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I sing a lot. My 4 sons and grandkids keep me involved in their lives. I make things with yarn, flowers, food, or wood...but... not at the same time!! I like to read, am addicted to Cryptograms, and love doing anything that's considered an outdoor activity. Shoot, if I can, I'll turn anything into an outdoor activity!!!!
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I can set my own routine, my own hours. I have the option of accepting jobs...or not. I can be painting in a home, a business, church, public throughway, or in a half-built building in the dead of winter. Ever use a port-o-let on a snowy 3-degree day? I like to visit the sick and shut-ins. I don't push myself like I used to; I need to recharge my batteries more often. I try to walk or exercise every day.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personal: I was in a car wreck (ask me what I think of drunk drivers) and gained weight on steroids while in recovery. Now I'm working it off. It's weird climbing scaffolding right now. Ooof! I want to learn belly-dancing!
Spiritual: Getting closer to God...and keeping His Will more central than mine!
