Life is so full of surprises, isn't it? Some good, some not so great... The important thing is to learn from them and move on! Life's hard enough without dwelling on the shoulda/coulda/woulda's in life. Life is an experience, a journey. We only go around once and I believe it is meant to be enjoyed and to help others around us.
I have a great job, great kids and am NOT desparately looking for someone to take care of me - although pampering is allowed! I am just as comfortable in jeans as an evening gown, love everything from baseball games to the theatre, picnics in the park to candle light dinners or glitzy galas, evening concerts at Conner Prairie or a quiet evening at home... I tend to be a little quiet at first, but it doesn't last long! I don't like mind games, prefer to keep it simple in the beginning, and build a solid relationship based on trust and friendship.
I am constantly working to be a better mom, daughter, sister, friend... just being a better me. There is always room for growth. I can't imagine ever being stagnant. Does this mean I'm not satisfied with myself - ABSOLUTELY NOT!! I like who I am, and who I am becoming! Life is exciting and full of possibilities. The day I stop learning and growing is the day my heart stops beating within me!
I love my kids and think they are great. They're not perfect, but doggone close! We have our moments of "sunshine" and "rain". They are a big part of my life and will be for a long time. I know how to keep balance in my life, too.
I take care of myself, watch what I eat (most of the time!), work out and stay active.
My Ideal Person:
I hope to find someone who is very loving and kind, can express themselves (without yelling), has a great sense of humor, knows how to have fun, loves kids and family, romantic, spontaneous, has a solid relationship with Christ and can remain real...
Please tell me that your biggest aspiration in life isn't to be a couch potato! Don't get me wrong, it's good to sit and relax sometimes, just not every night and weekend. I hope that you like keeping in shape, too, physically and mentally. I like someone with a sharp mind and sense of humor!
