Hello, brothers, I've been gone awhile but now I'm back. I am a mom of 2 really nice people who are now in college, I am a nurse, a teacher, a friend, a sister. Ah, but mostly I am a child of The Most High God. I am ready to start a new life with the wonderful man-of-God that He has chosen for me. Maybe I will meet you here! I am very outgoing and social, and yet I am an introvert too, in that I need some routine alone time to recharge. I laugh a lot, and probably talk too much, but I try to say nice things when I do. I'm honest, loyal, responsible, resourceful, non-judgmental hard working, and compassionate. My heart breaks for the blinded world, and I aim to reach people for Christ with my friendship, my food, my acceptance, etc. I try to live the commandments, believe that the bible is the Holy word of God, and that He will always honor our willingness to do things His way. I enjoy home remodel, movies, plays, music, poetry slams, road trips, camping, entertaining, reading and (I confess) home improvement shows. If you think that I just might be your girl, send me a message. Then maybe we can talk on the phone, meet for coffee..... I have not really dated much since I became a Christian about 5 years ago, so this is both a little scary and exciting. However, The Lord and I have discussed it extensively, and He says that I'm ready! And please figure out a way and take the time to post a photo. Don't be shy. Its not a beauty contest but I want to put a face to the person I'm talking to....don't you? So I look forward to meeting you soon.
My Ideal Person:
I want a man who loves God, loves himself, loves people, and has a fiery yet gentle heart with which to love a woman. He must know that Christianity is a relationship & not a religion. Someone who loves our Lord passionately & cares about people, particularly lost ones. I want a best friend, a comrade, a prayer partner, a lover. Someone who is kind, polite (but not stuffy), responsible, laughs a lot, and relishes even the "ordinary" day. You can even have a few faults! Hopefully, you will be someone who enjoys much of what I enjoy: eating, music (of many types), movies, theater, books, camping, entertaining, home & garden, and of course, worship. I do not demand constant attention, (so you will have some time to just be a "guy" and do "guy" things) but knowing that I've got "someone in my court" would be wonderful. I want a man who is secure in their relationship with Christ, who understands that I am changing and growing through my own relationship with Christ, and that we must keep Him in the center of all that we do. Chemistry is important...no way around it, but that is just the beginning. Don't be afraid to e-mail me a note, then maybe we can talk on the phone. Perhaps we will click, perhaps not. But you will never know if you just sit home browsing and wondering. Photos are not generally very accurate (I think I'm cuter in motion). They have no smell or gestures. (I smell better in person too.) And it is very difficult to read the personality and emotion in these written profiles. So if the basics seem promising, send me a note. Lord bless you, brothers!

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
God is the only thing that is reliable, consistant. He is real and He is personal..
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Isaiah 53
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
If I can't share my faith with my spouse how can I share me?
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born in Orange County, CA and lived there until 5 yrs. old. I grew up on Klamath Lake in Southern Oregon. And moved here in 1987. And I'm not very traveled. I've been up and down I-5 plenty, from border to border. And I get over to the Gorge when I can. I've been to Hawaii, NY city, Philidelphia, and B.C. Canada. As a kid, I went to New Mexico and Arizona but can't really remember much....sigh....I need to get out more.
I really like the Gorge and I really, really love the Oregon coast.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love worship music and talking with people one on one.I really enjoy home remodel kind of stuff. I redo my house, my friends houses etc. Its my cup-o-tea, for sure. I enjoy spending time with family and friends (old and new). I love to have people over for dinner. My very favorite part is that nice intimate, relaxed conversation around a dinner table...people sharing their heart, stories etc.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Up about 9 am, get my coffee and my bible and read a couple of chapters or so out on the patio. Then I usually make any phone calls I need to make, do some household chores, maybe check my e-mail. I leave for work at 1pm and get home about midnight. Then I sort my mail, check my voicemail, e-mail, notes from you, maybe play a little cubis (original not 2), brush my teeth say my prayers and fall asleep to the TV. That's a work day...days off I visit people, paint a wall, pull some weeds, catch a movie, all kinds of stuff.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To know His voice from all others (including my own).
