I am relatively easy going and love to learn new things (never quite got school out of my system). Family (2 nieces and nephew), friends and my faith are important to me. My interests include photography, theatre, hiking/walking, snowshoeing and I want to learn curling next winter. I love to travel -- trips in the last few years have included France, Germany, Belgium, Hawaii (5 times!) and through out the US (mostly west).
I have my own engineering consulting business, as well as a photography business. I actually took the photo for this profile myself.
My Ideal Person
I'm looking for someone who loves life and is a friend, a supporter, an encourager, and who wants me to be the same for them. That might be someone who ... thinks family is important, would like to learn new things with me, and who is willing to take time to invest in a relationship, but doesn't expect to be attached at the hip either. A sense of humor is a must.

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
A couple should have the same guiding beliefs.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in South Eastern Michigan. I've traveled to Hawaii (5 times), throughout the west coast, Germany, Netherlands, France, and Belgium. I've driven across the States extensively, from MI to FL, from MI to MT, from MI to CA.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I like to do volunteer work and spend time with family.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Wake up, check email, shower. From then on it is never routine! With 2 separate businesses and close ties with my family and friends, there is always a variety to my schedule.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
My personal goals are to continue to grow my business, start living a healthier life, and spend more time with friends and family. Spiritually, I'd like to become more diligent in my church attendance and find a good place to fit in at my church. I continue to read the Bible and pray daily.
