I never know what to write on these things. Everything I write always sounds so serious. So...here is some not so serious stuff. I love Jackie Chan movies, I have made an idiot out of myself while traveling. (On more than one occasion.) I used to day dream about being in a rock band (ok, who didn't?) I really enjoy books by terry pratchett. I love to cook (though I often don't use recipes - which can lead to some pretty scary stuff - though the satisfaction when I get it right is well worth the trial and error.) And if I could be doing anything right now I would be riding a motorcycle somewhere in SE Asia.
Update: I just finished a second BA in history - my focus is Johnson era Latin American foreign policy. If you are up for some light conversation on current international issues, i'm your girl.
My Ideal Person
Life can be so rough sometimes. I am looking for someone who can make me laugh through those times. Who is not too worried about how they are perceived. Even at church I think we take our fellowship too seriously and we lose the joy of intimacy that comes from embarrassing ourselves as we try to figure out who we are. I believe God has a sense of humor (we were created in His image, right?) And that it pleases Him when we laugh together.

My family moved alot during my time growing up, as a result I have lived in FL, SC, NC, LA, OH, Washington DC. I have also traveled a little (2 trips to SE Asia where I taught English)that allowed me to see Thailand, Singapore, Laos and Burma.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?

I go to the coolest Church in Charlotte, NC. Sunday morning is my favorite time of the week. I can truly say, "I was glad when they said unto me let us go to the house of the Lord."
