I am seeking a friend or partner to share a laugh or good times with. My friends would say that I am a crazy and funny person. I like to make people laugh because it usally (if not only for a moment) makes your problems not be #1 on your mind. I also enjoy watching Professional Football, softball, and baseball. Sorry not a basketball fan.
My interest include reading non-fiction books, going for a walk with someone special or alone, spending time with my 20-year-old.
On a date I tend to like to go to the movies, athletic events, dining, shopping, or simply sitting home getting to know someone better.
I have had 2 long time relationships that proved to be not the right one's for me. (Thank God for showing me the light!)
Where I live at this time, is not very important. I would like to get to know someone over e-mail before I give out vital imformation. I am not in a hurry to hook-up with someone. I want the next person to be special and not an infatuation. However, if the relationship grew to the ultimate level, I would consider traveling or moving for the right man.
When I am at home I enjoy listening to gospel music. I even listen to it in my car and on the job. It continues to be a very important source of inspiration for me in my life. At this time I tend to lean more toward traditional than comtemporary. However, there are becoming more contemporary gospel songs that I am drawn spiritually to. I like listening to artists such as Shirley Caesar, Donnie McClurken, Neal Johnson (if you haven't heard him try it), Dottie Peoples and many others time will not allow me to mention.
I wish money was not important to me, but it is a necessity these days. Can't live without it. If I didn't work I couldn' survive. Currently I am in the Educational field. I also have degrees in medical/legal execute office. This is where my heart is and I feel that when the right opportunity comes along the Lord will make it available to me.
However, in searching for a mate, I would not say that I am out searching for someone with a 6 figure income.
I feel you can not ask for more than you can give of yourself.
Finally, I am looking for someone to grow with, learn with, compliment, and excentuate the person I already know I am. I accept nothing less than love, honesty, and monogomist relationships. You see I have been there and done that. Now I am ready for the real thing. I have played games and had games played on me. That part of my life is over.

I would like to meet someone who is interested in getting to know someone to decide if the relationship can go further, if not then just remain friends.

My reasons for being on this site include: meeting friends for casual conversations. Hey, if it leads to something else, I could be open to the possibility. However, it is not my only intent. I am a woman in waiting. However, I haven't been waiting alone. I have the Lord to spend my time with when I feel alone and need someone to talk to.
When it comes to physical health, at this time I am in the spring mood. I actually get out and do things more than I would in the winter. I am also one of the few women who ejoy mowing the lawn. Not just to be mowing but to get a good workout. As for a mate, I don't want a couch potato, but I am not looking for a health guru. I think the inner person is much more important than the outer person. It's who you are inside that attracts me to a mate.
I like my dates to be assertive, but also I don't want to be overpowered by anyone. I like to share in the decision making. I have already had someone to follow my lead and I don't want someone to lead me. A relationship has to be 50/50 (a little more or less one way or the other).
My feeling on children are I love them but I don't plan on having anymore. I don't mind dating someone with one or two childrens because I have one myself. However, I would not consider someone who has several children with several different women. This does not speak well of your relationships.
