I am primarily creative (fiction, non-fiction, stained glass beginner) but almost equally analytical (enjoyed a successful career in pharmaceuticals research of investigational drugs). I was so successful that I developed "burn-out" and left my career to seek less stress and more meaning. I'm generally happiest when I've got my mind wrapped around something; either a concept (I'm always listening to digital and cassette audio books) or a project (around the house or in my glass studio). One of the joys of my week is volunteer teaching English to Hmong refugees in the Twin Cities.
My Ideal Person
With regard to spiritual issues I find legalism and a judgmental attitude repugnant. I am very fond of Joyce Meyer and watch her show, which used to be called Life in the Word. I LOVE God and have since I was a very tiny child, so I rejected much of what I was taught in the Roman Catholic Church because the God they taught was not the God I already knew. This sent me out seeking to study and know, at least in passing, all the many faces and names of God in the world.
