My Ideal Person:
The man I would like to have in my life should first of all be one who has Christ first in his life. Then it should be easy after that....he should be caring, compassionate, romantic (surprising me with little gifts from time to time as I will him), a good listener and fun-loving. Really just the basics...treat me as you would want to be treated.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am of the Baptist faith and am a Born Again Christian. Christ is very important in my life. I attend church regulary and attend most functions that are provided at my church.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" Phil. 4:13 Since my husband died, this verse means even more to me because without Christ in my life I don't think I could have gotten thru this point in my life the way I have.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because God says we are not to be unequally yoked and I feel He means christian should marry christian. Also, with each being christian and God centered, just think how happy the couple can be!

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I was born and raised in a small town in central Virginia. I spent a year in California and moved back to my home town. I have traveled to Nova Scotia, Canada, Jamaica, Grand Cayman Islands, St, Thomas, St. Marteen, Puerto Rico, Mexico (3 times) and have visited 48 of our 50 states. I loved Jamaica the most I guess, but each place had a significance for me at some point.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I am in the choir and although we are a small church, I attend most of the fuctions we have there. I enjoy reading, boating, camping, fishing, and my passion is motorcycle riding. I also collect carousel horses and am an avid Betty Boop collector.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Because I live quite a ways from where I work, my day consists of getting up early, going to work and getting home late. When I get home, I chill for a while after I eat, then work on computer for a while, then it's back to bed for another round the next day. Weekends are open and up for discussion.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I strive each day to be as close to God as I can be. I have reached a few of my personal goals but I continue to seek education to further myself in my career.
