I can be shy around new people. I enjoy playing music(guitar and a few other instruments) and singing. My preference is contemporary Christian, but I enjoy a variety of music. I like science fiction, action and adventure books and movies. I prefer being active and enjoy a variety of activities and sports. I believe in following God's Word. Years ago I told God I would follow Him where ever He leads me. So far that has been to working with youth at church and in the school system. I love kids. I some times wonder exactly what God has in store for me. But I also know He only wants the best for me.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for someone who believes in actively serving God, instead of just being a spectator. I would like to find someone who can share in my interests, but also has intersts of his own. Someone who can take the lead in the relationship, but is not intimidated by a strong woman. Someone to become my best friend. I want to find someone who wants to grow together in Christ.
Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
Jesus is my life. Without Him I am nothing. I sometimes wonder how anyone can get through life without Him.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
II Cor. 12: 9-10. I don't have to be strong. When I rely on Him, the strength available to me is endless.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I don't want to be unequally yoked. I want to share all of my life with the man God provides, and not to be able to share the most important thing with that person, would be heart wrenching.
