While I don't seem to do much more than work and church, I'm pretty sure it's because I'm busy with my 2 teenage boys. Actually, I kind of like them, so it's not a hardship. I've been divorced for about 5 years, taking care of things financially and now I have some time to take care of some of my own needs. I'm active in my church, leading a childrens and a quizzing group, playing the piano for services and pitching in whereever the time and opportunity arises. I believe in a commitment to the church you attend as well as a commitment to the Lord and strive to grow in both as I grow in Christ. I live in a small town and spend most of my time at work doing overtime, or at home working on the many chores a home seems to need done. I kind of like being a home owner. You know, being able to paint the walls purple if I choose. Be reassured, there are NO purple rooms in my house! :)
Still....... you never know what might be the case tomorrow. :D
My Ideal Person
I'm looking first for a friend to spend time with, share different activities and explore new places with. Not a native to this state, there is so much I'd like to see that my boys aren't interested and I'd like to take it all in with someone I like, a friend. Perhaps you and I might be compatible, as friends, or whatever. I leave it pretty much in God's hands down the road, but I feel perfectly comfortable giving a new friendship a little kickstart. Let's chat and see what connections we might make.
