Hi! I'm just trying out this site to see what it's like. My friends do describe me as shy yet outgoing - it just takes me a little while to get to know someone. When I am comfortable around people, I become spontaneous, adventurous, fun, and always laughing and smiling. Currently I am at university studying to become a teacher. I enjoy being outside, hiking, skiing (maybe snowboarding), sewing, crafts and cooking.
My Ideal Person
I'm looking for a guy who will become my best friend. He must be a Christian, have a desire to work overseas, and be adventurous.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
It is the highest priority in my life. Without a relationship with God, my life would be without purpose and direction.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I like the whole book of Nehemiah - all about Godly vision. And the book of Esther is awesome too!
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
We are not to be unequally yoked. I've tried non-Christian relationships - they just don't work.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Grew up in small town Alberta but have traveled extensively within Canada, the United States and overseas. I happen to love Malaysia and desire to go back there someday.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Previously I was involved in the music ministry at my home church, and would love to do the same here in my new church.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Well, I am still a university student, so my life revolves around my homework. Not fun, I know. I need to change that.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I will be graduating in 2005!
I would love to travel as much as possible both overseas and within my country. I would love to take the whole summer and do a roadtrip across Canada and especially visit the Maritimes.
Spiritually, I challenge myself to keep growing in God, and never to remain on the same spiritual plateau for too long.
