I may not have the figure of Cindy Crawford or the glamour and beauty of Sophia Loren, but what I do have is the ability to dedicate myself fully to the man I love. I am a 49 year old widow who understands what a successful marriage is all about. After being alone for over a year, it is now time for me to begin the next book (not chapter)of my life, as I know that is what my husband and the Lord would want. My first marriage was like a wonderful novel you never want to put down, but one day you finally come to the last page and you must close that book and begin another one. I have dedicated myself to my family and friends my entire life and I love spending time with them every chance I get, especially the young children. I love to cook and I love to travel. I would like to see as much of the world as possible before the Lord takes me home. I'm a very ordinary and simple person who loves life and all the beautiful things and people God has surrounded me with. I hope there is someone out there who looks at the total package and not just the outside of a person. If you've ever watched the movie "Shallow Hal", you will know exactly what I'm talking about. If you have never seen that movie, I strongly urge everyone (both men and women) to watch it at least once. God Bless.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for someone who is kind, honest, and doesn't take life too seriously, and knows that true beauty goes much further than looks. And most of all he must be a Christian and his every day life must reflect that.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith is very important to me. I currently attend a local Church of God out of Cleveland, TN which is pastored by my step-son
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Proverbs 31, as my goal is to be the Godly woman this scripture speaks of
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I don't think a relationship can succeed without God being the center of that relationship
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in northeast Tennessee and live about 20 minutes from where i was raised; my father still lives in the same house as when i was born; one of my favorite things to do is travel; i have been to new york city, washington, dc and a large part of the southeastern states; i love the beach; the furthest west i've been was to the navajo reservation in arizona on a mission trip with my former church
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love the music at church and the fellowship; i love entertaining friends and family in my home; i live on the lake and enjoy a leisurely boat ride
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My workday begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m.; then i either come home to my two dogs or if my nephew has a football game i try to go to that; i try to spend as much time as possible with my two grandchildren
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Both my personal and spiritual goal is to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord and to help those less fortunate than myself
