I love laughing and I love being serious. I am intelligent, empathetic, and sporadically self-righteous. Sometimes I lie - like pretending I know the answers to trivia questions when I have no clue.
I have irrational fears of leeches, of losing my nails or toenails, and of leaving our front door unlocked. I like fonts, alliterations, and throwing out other peoples' clutter. I don't wear bracelets, wool, or hearts but with a tendency to break all of my own rules.
I studied abroad in Europe but still think South Dakota Badlands is the most beautiful place I have visited. I am inspired by people who change communities, rainstorms, and car-ride conversations. Someday I want a house full of art, three children, and a non-drooling Saint Bernard. And in closing if you've read this far - I believe in Jesus as the world's savior, evolution, and that the chicken came before the egg.
My Ideal Person:
Someone who knows who he is and likes himself. Someone with goals, ideals, and beliefs. I want to meet a guy with strength of character, with honor.
I am not necessarily looking for someone who believes in all I do. I am open-minded to try new ideas on and see if they are true to me. If I find they are, I try to act on them but of course, without perfection. Believe me, I mess up. Anyway I suppose I would like to meet someone similar in that way - open-minded but firm in what is true to him.
Plus if you know how to build a fire and can handle listening to Dylan in the car even better.
