Hi, my name is Laurie and I'm a college student at NAU. I am studying physics and astronomy and getting to see the vastness of God's creation in the universe. Many think that science and religion cannot come together but I love to see how much detail God used to make this world around us. When I learn a new equation it just makes me realize how great it is that we may be small and insignificant compared to the size and complexity of the universe but God still loves us. The more I get to learn about the stars and planets I learn about God. Eventually I plan to get a PhD in this subject and possibly work at a university. It's a long and distant dream though.
When I am not busy with school, I enjoy hiking, road biking, camping, and getting to just soak in the beautiful outdoors. I'm also quite content staying in and enjoying the company of a friend and watching a good action movie or just making dinner or just chilling out. I used to dance and be really involved in theatre and still enjoy the performing arts even though I don't get to do it much anymore. I'm pretty versatile and am not too difficult to please.
I am interested in finding someone that is wanting to start as a friend and might possibly want something more than that. Ultimately a relationship is intended to glorify God and I haven't always had that in previous relationships and I think I'd like to find that. I understand everyone is in different places with their relationship with God and I'm willing to meet people at any place no matter the struggles they've faced or are facing now. As long as God is there somewhere in your heart. I would like to meet someone close to my age, I think age differences are difficult.
And that's what I'm all about for now!
