Hi, I'm a busy person with goals in life and haven't taken a lot of time for romance... raising four kids and a full-time career as a Correctional Officer. I have a lot of male friendships, but not that special person to be one with. Whoever he is... he's one in a million!
God introduced Himself to me when I was four, and I received the gift of speaking in tongues at 12. Jesus and I talk a lot... God never lets me out of His sight. And, I love to sing to my God.
I enjoy laughing, little kids, and the birds singing when the sun rises. And, My childhood Sunday School teacher is still my best friend. I've been around the world a few times, been divorced for 16 years, and am in the process of retiring from Corrections.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for a sincere heart and gentle spirit to walk through life with.
Mature gentlemen that have manners, compassion, wisdom and time in the Bible, really turn my head. If you have issues,and want to work them out... then, welcome to the human race!
I like guns, hunting and fishing... but,it's been awhile. And, I am looking for more than "friendships." Becoming friends is important, and getting to know each other and worshiping together. And, I spend several hours a day in prayer and Bible study.
I've noticed there are a lot of "boys with toys" that spend most of their time entertaining themselves, and have no productive goals in life outside their own comfort. I'm looking for a humble man with Christian maturity, that is "about His Father's business." A man with a love for God's people.
I have been blessed, and know how to have fun.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I had no faith, until God drew it out of me. God is my one certainty in life. Jesus is my reality. He is the Rock that I cling to, my High Tower, it's under His wings that I find shelter, and on His wings that He lifts me to His Face. I dwell in His presence, find comfort in His words, and live by His breath.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
My relationship with Jesus is how and why I am alive. God gave me reason to live, a passion for His will. It is through Jesus that I find God in YOU. It is through Jesus that our souls can talk.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up on a farm on the coast.
Been to Japan, Canada, Alaska, up and down the Westcoast, across the Midwest, and to Ohio.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love to sing praises to My God... Tenor! And, teaching children about their Creator is as close to thanksgiving as any activity can get.
