I am a hard working woman looking for my family to share life with. I love to spend time with my family and friends and anyone I date must be able to be a part of that. I love entertaining, cooking, heading out to hear a good band, staying in to watch a movie, good conversation over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, traveling, learning new things, and spending time outdoors. I can appreciate the finer things in life but I don't need them to exist. Building a peaceful and stable home environment is more important to me than the "stuff" that is in them. I need a partner with those same ideals. I know it takes money to live but I don't live for money.
My family and friends tell me all the time that I'm a great girl with a good head on her shoulders and a great sense of humor. I love to see the people around me happy and having a good time even if that means I have to make a fool of myself. I was told at lunch with my friend that I am a gentle and calm person, I am very protective of those I care about. I am also determined and tenacious, stubborn but willing to compromise, a good listener, communicator and loyal to those that hold my heart.
I am looking for a man that knows what he wants out of life, values time with his family and companion, works hard, is willing to talk and share his thoughts and feelings and shares similar interests. We don't have to like all the same things. I love going new places and learning about new things. I want a guy who doesn't need someone to take care of him, but doesn't mind if I do. Someone who doesn't need to be in control of me or the situation to be comfortable. Someone who is not perfect and doesn't expect me to be either. I am laid back and easy going and take life in stride and so should he. More important than all of that, we have to be able to build a friendship first. I don't believe you can have a successful long term relationship without it.
