I'm pretty laid back overall but am also outgoing with friends and in public. I am attractive and bubbly (my daughter always calls me cute) but have had a couple spinal surgeries and struggle with my weight. My daughter who lives with me has health issues so we've focused on health and diet for years and we're both very artistic, always willing to impulsively get out for a 'new adventure.
My friends say I’m a good friend, I'm honest, loyal, compassionate and always there for them, for anyone, at the drop of a hat with encouragement and compassion. I'm real, no facade, what you see is what you get - no baggage, temper issues, not high maintainence, but a little eccentric at times, quirkey but submissive and obedient to the Lord's leading above all else. NOT SHY...and a people person really.
My Ideal Person:
i would like to spend time with Someone, age range probably 48-58, who is vulnerable and honest yet guarded and not wearing his heart on his sleeve. Someone who loves the Lord with His whole heart, soul and mind, purity above reproach (language also),preferably Spirit-led, who believes in the gifts of the spirit, someone who knows who he is in Christ and with no false facades, who is ready to take chances and adventurous and willing to try new things/food, Someone easy going yet is protective and takes charge when he should, who knows what he wants usually and is fearless yet yields all actions/ideas/etc, to the Lord. A leader not a follower in regards to taking charge of his life, hopefully someone who is comfortable praying for others openly, compassionate and caring. Sense of humor a must

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
my walk, my relationship with the Lord is everything to me.
I was raised in the church but started seeking with abandon in my 20's, going deeper and deeper with the Lord and my walk is everything to me. I seek His face and time in His presence daily and His leading in all things. I've been on ministry teams and my heart is for those hurting or in need of healing. I know that my "job" is to be watchful for where the Lord is moving and who He might bring for encouragement and to share all He has shared with me. I have a heart for woman also and have started a book that the Lord gave me that ministers to hurting women. He is my all and all. I Hear his voice clearly and love the words, visions and dreams that He is always faithful to share along with revelation as i seek Him. I have walked in the gift of prophetic and don't want to be looked at as weird by a professing brother who does not believe God speaks to us (just trying to be honest).
i was on a healing ministry team years ago at my old church, recently moved and attending in a new city. I attend services and also am a member of a "home group" with other spiritual warriors i've gotten to know through the years. It's a time of worship and prayer and learning/study and fellowship. As the Lord promised in Ezekiel 34, He showed up and teaches me much also. I have prayer partners and accountabilty partners in the 'extended church' also.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Ephesians 6:12;"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
1 Corinthians 4:20
"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power."
Deuteronomy 31:8
"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Christ is my very air i breath...and i am lost without Him....and to share that, to be as a 3-strand cord with another & Him (mate) is the only way anything can work, if the Lord doesn't build the house, it will not stand. I pursue Him more and more, dig deeper and deeper with a passion and i don't want to have to turn away from that in a close intimate relationship.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
grew up outside milwaukee...traveled to Vienna, Switzerland, Italy, France...the best places are out in the country, getting away from the big cities and go into the rural areas and live amongst the people. Italy is my fav.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
i feel drawn to the healing ministries as i always feel called to pray with and for the hurting, even strangers. I know i'm supposed to use my gifts but sometimes others think they can use what they see and i have to be moved by the lord...so i'm not into the fluff busi-ness of man-made activities but prefer more spirit led ones, birthed in prayer.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
i start every day with the lord, in praise and worship with my music, getting out of myself and into His presence before the cares of the day can flood in, write any words i get from HIm or any scripture i'm told to go to...if i can't do that, my day is not a good one.
i homeschooled my daughter and so we're still going over some of the work along with her projects and then i freelance art at home in my studio space.
from there on, nothing is 'routine' as we might get out to a bookstore or walk in the cemetary or a retro shop, the campus...get a movie...
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
personal goals met but spiritual is just to keep listening and pouring out where He moves me.
