Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I grew up in a Pentecostal Holiness church (Not Apostolic - Jesus only). I now visit Baptist and Churches of God. I am open to most any Protestant church. As long as the man is a devout Christian, and lives the life, that is all that matters.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
The scriptures about the grace and love of Jesus and how He cares for us no matter what. And how Jesus will always be with us - He will never leave us or forsake us. I love to read His promises to His children. And at times I love to read about His sacrifice on the Cross. It reminds me of the ultimate price that He paid for my sins.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I have had my fill of sinners and how they treat people. I hope to meet a TRUE Christian who lives like one.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I lived in Detroit until I was 14, then I moved to East Tennessee. I love this part of the country. My goal is to travel all over the United States and see all the sites that God has created. I'm not interested right now in traveling to Europe - not until after I see all of America.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I love to go to a church that has wonderful singing and a great praise and worship atmosphere. My passion is going to Southern Gospel Music concerts. I love all of Bill Gaither Homecoming recordings. Other than that, I enjoy weekends in the Smoky Mountains - Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Townsend, Cades Cove, Dollywood, etc. I never get tired of going there.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Since I am retired, I do whatever I want to do or whatever needs to be done. I enjoy the spring, summer and fall so that I can be outside working in the yard or just sitting in my swing on the porch. I would love to share my days with someone who enjoys a simple country life.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To get as close to Jesus as I can and to let Him know how much I truly love Him. My personal goal is to meet someone that I can give my love to and who will love me. A companion to enjoy life with. Just to walk down the streets of Gatlinburg holding hands and smiling at each other. Being each other's best friend.
