I think my interests are pretty eclectic: football, hockey, the theater, museums (art or history), any live music, drinks & pool at a local pub, golf, bike riding, good wine...just to name a few. Sometimes I like to be a home-body. If I stay in, I really enjoy entertaining-cooking, spending time with my friends, game night. This summer I realized I really like tenting (that's Alaskan for camping) and am more outdoorsy than I ever imagined. I will never turn down the opportunity to travel-whether it's a big trip or a simple weekend getaway. I love exploring new places and meeting new people.
I really enjoy the life I have created for myself, but I have come to realize that I am ready to find someone to share it with. If you are in a similar place, it'd be great to get better acquainted. I am a firm believer that, no matter where a relationship is headed, it has to start with friendship.
My Ideal Person:
It is important to me to find someone who is compassionate, kind, and has a generosity of spirit (this has absolutely nothing to do with materialism/buying me stuff. It is about finding someone who has an openness to share and experience life). It is also important to be with someone who likes to have fun and who I can laugh with. Someone who shares similar interests, is willing to try to new things, and who is willing to include me in his interests. Last but not least, I want to find someone who appreciates the simple things in life.
