Life is short, but I am definitely not, since I am 6 feet tall. I am looking for a tall man, who shares common interests, good conversation, one day drives to long trips, laughter, and the sharing of life's ups and downs.
My friends have described me as loving, inquisitive, compassionate, intelligent and passionate about life. I am the mother of a grown-up daughter who lives out of state but is a very important part of my life.
In warm weather, I am usually out on a hike, cycling, swimming, riding horses, playing tennis or racquetball and I have developed a passion for kayaking. While a beginner, I want to learn everything about it! This winter I'm thinking about learning how to cross-country ski and maybe snow shoes; but am always up for sledding as long as there is the promise of hot cider there somewhere! I am determined to become better acclimated to winter after too many years in Phoenix -- it's good to be home. I am dreaming about a cruise in March, hoping to find a Christian group to go with, if you have any ideas, please let me know.
My Ideal Person:
It is important to me that a man is outgoing and confident but not arrogant; TALLer than 6'4", kind, patient and intelligent; able to laugh at himself, including the things life throws our way; and in a long term relationship that we share a common Christian spirituality.
He needs to be as comfortable in a good suit as a pair of jeans; but most of all, "comfortable in his own skin", likes and most importantly, knows himself. Time together and time apart with friends and family is important to keep a relationship alive and fresh, but once I'm in a committed relationship, I believe in that old-fashioned word: fidelity and I need that to be a mutual decision.
If you are interested, I'd enjoy hearing from you! Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all the best during this sometimes odd and wonderful journey called life.
