I love to laugh and sometimes even laugh at myself! I LOVE music and play the piano a little bit. I enjoy making a house a home and would like to meet someone with whom to share my life and home. I believe the best is yet to come and romance is possible as we grow older! I enjoy an occasional weekend get-away and short vacations, but am always happy to get back home. I enjoy playing board games and from the age of 26 to 38, played bridge most every weekend. I'm conservative in most things; an old fashioned Southern Lady originally from NC. I have lived in several states--from NC to Hawaii--from Ohio to Mississippi. I am easy going, honest, trustworthy, affectionate, kind, considerate, a good listener and do not play head games and avoid drama. I believe a couple should work together to create and maintain a loving relationship through kind communication, considering each others feelings, needs and wants. I do not have a problem if my companion has interests in things in which I do not participate, i.e. sports or golf. I avoid people who are sarcastic or cruel to others. I try to live my life based on Biblical principals. I am saved by the grace of God and not because of anything I have or have not done; my faith is very important.
My Ideal Person:
I would like to meet a man who is a true Christian and tries to live his life based on Biblical principals. This man has good personal hygiene habits, is neat, organized, respectful, trust worthy, honest, kind, thoughtful, affectionate, has a good sense of humor and able to communicate...in general he will possess the same basic qualities I have. He will be willing to take the time needed to create a friendship that can develop into a long lasting loving relationship and marriage. The man I would like to meet is slow to anger, compassionate, affectionate, (did I already mention that already? LOL!)and he may even enjoy an occasional weekend get-away. I do not wish to meet anyone who is bitter because of a failed prior relationship because bitterness will prevent one from loving and being loved in return.
