I was reared in a loving, but strict Sicilian family. At the age of 21, I accepted the Lord Jesus into my life. I went into fulltime ministry (MAF) in Fullerton, CA. Through the years, I've had a couple career changes, and after 11 fulfilling years, I finally found the one I enjoy the most: teaching. Lately, it seems like the demands of teaching have cramped my ability to meet new people. I enjoy being outdoors, theatre, occasional dressy dining, bike riding, putting in a few hours per week at the gym, long walks, and gardening. I believe it is very important to maintain a healthy lifestyle, spiritualy, physically and emotionally. I don't smoke or drink hard liquor. On special occasions, I might enjoy a glass of red wine (sorry, blame it on my Italian culture). For men that enjoy opening doors for ladies, chivalry still gets to me. I will close with one of my favorite bible verses: 1John4:18-19. Caio!
My Ideal Person:
This ideal person is a gentleman and intelligent. He seeks the Lord on many levels including regular bible devotions and a regular attender of a Christian church. He is a faithful and gentle person who strives to be healthy emotionally, physically, and spiritually. If we don't see eye to eye, we can disagree in a loving, win-win, and respectful way that helps each other grow in admiration for one another. He will have a sense of humor that makes me chuckle. He will be a man with an honorable reputation among his family, friends, and community. Dating will be hugs only at good-bye time for a good while. All that said, maybe my ideal friend doesn't exist. But I know that nothing is impossible with the Lord.
