Basically I'm a pretty outgoing person but had a hard time transitioning from Vegas to Iowa. I would just like to meet someone to hang out with who appreciates the simple things in life. I love starting up conversations with random people, because I think that sometimes we just don't seem to want to engage with others, which is so sad. Life is meant to be enjoyed in the company of others.
I'm a HUGE Springsteen fan! but I love any kind of music. Country and western dancing is a favorite, but I'm also up for just hanging out on the porch or visiting friends and family.

My Ideal Person:
I would love to find someone who has a similar zeal for life, willing to try new things just for the experience. I appreciate passion, so I would hope to find someone who loves what he does but always wants to continue learning. I also strive to be compassionate by volunteering, so I am usually most attracted to guys with a servant's heart, who can take time from a busy schedule now and then to show empathy for others.
I know it sounds like I'm asking for a lot, but overall I just want to meet someone who tries to eliminate as many pretenses as possible. I know it's not easy, but life is too short with too many wonderful possibilities for anyone to be standoffish or judgmental. I just want someone who can take a chance to express himself and be supportive of others who try to do the same.
I am also a HUGE fan of the scruffy, hippy types, so no judgment here if you grow out the hair and beard.
