Me? Well, I have a bit of an adventurous streak and can be quite playful too (or so I'm told). I love to play outdoors... water skiing, snow skiing, scuba diving, surfing, SeaDooing, and lots more. If I haven't done it, I'm willing to try it... (Except for jumping out of a perfectly good airplane... That's where I draw the line!)
I am also an avid learner.. which just means that I am curious and that I like to find the answers to all kinds of questions. I really love to read as well, though it seems that I have little time these days for fiction... but my favorite author is Nicholas Sparks. Whose yours? (BTW... I suppose a clearer picture into this aspect of my life... which I admit is a bit weird, but... is that my magazine subscriptions are to Popular Science and Popular Mechanics, Traveler and Boys Life... I know.. strange for a girl, but I have a son and... like I said, I'm curious.)
I love children. I have two kiddos of my own and always have lots of other kids around. I have had Foster Children in the past but do not currently have any. Kids keep my soul young and my spirits high. I suppose that's why some would say I"m playful... because I"m always playing with children. I love board games, swings, climbing trees, waterslides, hide and seek and other strange games made up on rainy days.
I've also travelled extensively, domestically and internationally. I've been to Athens and the Greek Islands, Germany, Chile, Costa Rica, Belize, the US and British Virgin Islands, many of the Caribbean Islands, Mexico (both of the coasts and islands) and 38 states... but I hope to visit all of them eventually. I love to explore this world and I speak Spanish so I have a tendency to choose those places first. I'd still love to see the Pyramids, Cruise the Nile, See the Great Wall of China, Scuba the Great Barrier Reef, visit the Wailing Wall and see lots of other places. When I travel, I have a tendency to stay clear of the major cities. I'm not usually found w/in 100 miles of the city I fly into... And my motto when I travel is "Drink the cheapest local wine you can find. They keep the best stuff low priced for the locals." I also try new foods and make sure that I know how to say Please and Thank You in the language of the people I am visiting.
What am I looking for???
I would hope to find someone who enjoys adventure and good conversation; someone who is well educated or well traveled. I would also hope that this gentleman would know who to give thanks to at the end of the day as this is an important part of my life.
I'm pretty happy on my own, but I get lonely sometimes and I would like to find someone to enjoy life's little treasures. I'm not sure I want to marry but would consider it for just the right guy (in time). For now, I'd just like to build a relationship on a foundation of trust and unconditional love.
