I have been told that we are rather"low-maintenance" type people. We like to be around people. Both of us are people persons. I like to listen to various types of music from contemporary Christian to classical to oldies. YOu might see me listening to the oldies band at the Sea Turtle on Tuesdays and trying out a line dance or two. We dance for recreation and exercise.
I am active at church and volunteer for on time ministries. I do help teach my ladies Sunday School class from time to time.
I like to scrapbook, sing, read, watch movies. My favorite new movie is Fireproof. I also like Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Baby Boom, Funny Farm etc. I like movies like Pride and Prejudice that are historical fiction and set in a particular period of time using period costumes, etc.
My favorite books are the Mitford series by Jan Karon and Christy by Catherine Marshall. I read magazines also.
I like to travel, sight see and go to historial sites like museums, etc.
I keep up with local, state and national politics as much as I can. I am ultraconservative Republican.
My spiritual gifts are teaching and encouragement. I do administrative things for the ministry but it is not my gift. I amthe coordinator for a children's ministry in SC.
I am looking for someone tall as all of the men in my family are tall: 6 feet or more. Also someone interested in ministry and who believes the Bible is God's word and is inerrant.
