When I am home I like to read, listen to acoustic music, play my guitars or dulcimers, work at digital scrapbooking. I also like to work on computers (software or hardware), go for walks, and take photos. I have been known to drive up to 50 miles of gravel roads to find the right spot to watch a prairie sunset and take pictures. I enjoy spending time with friends, but I recently moved 1400 miles so that's a bit difficult right now. I enjoy playing games and doing community events, like concerts and festivals.
Since I just moved to Spokane, I am trying to find a church home. I have attended 2 churches three times each and am still undecided. I pray that God will help me decide the place I should be. I am helping out at the AWANA club of one of the churches. I have been working in AWANA at my old church for 20 years and its just too exciting not to continue with that. To see young children memorizing the Bible and enjoying it and understanding it is very rewarding.
For 22 years I worked at a hospital school for children with severe developmental, physical, and behavioral disabilities.
My friends would say that I am well rounded in that I can converse in many topics. Its not hard to keep my schedule full because I am interested in many things. They would also say I have a hard time saying "No". If someone needs help, I try to fit it in.
I try to practice my faith every day, not just on Sunday.
Ok, that's all for now
