I am pretty laid back per and don't sweat the small stuff. I love my church family and enjoy spendimg time serving in different activities. I enjoy going out for a night on the town but also enjoy time at home. I need time by myself to recharge but enjoy spending time with those I am closest to. I love watching sports. I spend most Sunday afternoon in the fall watching the game of the week and hoping my fantasy football team wins. I am sport's fan of everything Michigan, pro and college. I have a heart for dogs. I have two of my own and they have given me so much joy. I enjoy staying physically fit and make it a priority in my life. A morning jog is the best way to start a day.
My Ideal Person
I am looking for a man that is totally sold out for God and puts Him #1 in his life. A man that can be the spiritual leader in my life. I believe that God has a perfect design for relationships and desire a man that is in agreement with me on this design. Someone that can be a friend first and enjoy the ride as much as arriving at the destination.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith in Christ is everything to me. My faith in God gives me hope for today and tomorrow. Jesus Christ is my best friend and I talked to him all day. He is my protector, provider, teacher and the lover of my soul. Until He deems it is time for me to meet the man that He has aside for me I will concentrate on an intimate relationship with God.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Ps 121 is the scripture that my parents shared with me the night before I left for the miltiary. Since then it has been very special to me. Jer 29:11 - my mom and I share this as one of our favorite verses. This is also special because it is an important promise from God. He has promised that He will always do what benefits us according to His plan. When I face situations where I questions whether I can trust God this verse reminds me that He wants to prosper me not harm me. Prov 18:22 - This verse reminds me that it is not my responsibility to find a husband. This verse states that a man who finds a wife finds a good thing not She who find a husband. I will trust God to bless me with a husband and concentrate on my relationship with Him until that time.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
It is what God had in mind when He joined man and woman. He commanded us to be equally yoked and have a God centered marriage. It is only through our desire to love God and devotion to God that we can truly love each other. He gave us the example of what love should look like. A Christian man will help me fulfill Christ's purpose for my life as well I his purpose.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I have already mentioned my wonderful upbringing. Before joining the military I lived in Ft Lauderdale, FL while attending school. Since joining the military I have lived in Turkey, Belleville, IL (east of St Louis), Anchorage, AK and now Abilene, TX. I have traveled to Germany, Austria, Diego Garcia, Qatar as well as Florida, San Antonio, Mississippi. When I left Alaska my parents and I drove the Alaska Hwy through Canada.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I serve on the Helps Ministry which works behind the scenes to ensure the service goes smoothly. We also greet members and visitors as they come into the church. I am a member of the singles group (SWAT--Single Whole and Thriving). I try to get involved in as many things as I can at church because they are my family. I enjoy volunteering, flower gardening and wished I understood more about landscaping.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I get up at 0345 to attend a fitness boot camp at the base gym. Some days I will run 4-6 miles after the class and then go home to get ready for work. I get to work at 0830 and work until 4-5pm. When I get home I take my dogs for a 45 min walk, eat some dinner and then do my homework. Being that I get up so early I am usually in bed by 8-9pm.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Personal goals are to retire from the military at 20 years of service. I would like to have my bachelor's degree by that time and start my second career. It is my spiritual goal to never stop growing closer to God. To never be satisfied with my relationship with Christ but to always be finding ways to improve my relationship with God and my character to be more like Him every day.
