My friends say I'm outgoing with lots of enthusiasm and ideas. I prefer authentic, meaningful (three dimensional)relationships to superficial. I enjoy checking out new restaurants, but am relatively new to the Houston area, so I haven't had an opportunity to check out plays, musicals, theatre, etc. I am active in my church and take seminary classes for fun. I love to be around smart people with all kinds of interests. In June '08 I became widowed after being happily married to a great guy for 35 years, and am just thinking about possibly dating again, although I am not sure how to begin.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for devout Christian friends who are genuine, kind, thoughtful, and who understand that true joy comes from Jesus first, others second, and yourself last. They don't have anything to prove, are financially independent, confident and feel peace in their lives. That being said, they can have a great time in various settings, and know how to see new experiences as opportunities to grow.
