Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I am a borned again Christian. I grew up in the Assembly of God denomiation and after graduating from I drifted big time and did not come back to God until last year (40 years later; like the Children of Isreal wondering around in the wilderness for 40 year - that was me). I am like a new Christan now trying to grow and get my life back in with God like I once was. I currently attend the Evangelical Free church and am enjoying it emensely. I attend church regularly on a weekly basis.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I love John 3:16.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I am totally lost without God in my life. I have floundered around so much and God is my lifeline.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas. I have only been in the states, but have been to Florida, Washington, D.C., Arkansas, New Mexico, Minnesota. Florida was my best place to visit so far. I hope to be able to tour the states once I retire.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Since I am so new at church, I have not gotten involved with a lot of activities. I do attend Bible studies when they are offered; I love visiting with family and friends; I like to attend live concerts; go to movies
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Most of my days go like this:
I get up at 4am and go to the fitness center; I leave the fitness center and go right to work where I spend the next 8 1/2 hours. I come home, check on the mail and prepare my supper. I then sit at the computer to check email and then get ready for bed. Because of my early risings, I go to bed extremely early. (I'm usually in bed by 7:30 to 8:00 p.m.) Some of this comes from boredom. Prior to turning off the light at night, I like to read.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Spiritual goals are to grow closer to God, become a stronger Christian so I will be able to share my faith with those around me and in need of Christ. Personal goals are to retire and get settled in a new homelife and enjoy life at that point hopefully with my soulmate.
