My Ideal Person
I'm looking for a strong Christian man who enjoys children and music. We can email or talk and then decide if we want to be more than friends.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I accepted Christ as my savior at an early age and have been involved at church my entire life. I feel very strongly called to work with children in whatever capacity God sees fit to put me in. I believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Phil. 4:4-7, Phil. 4:13, 1 Cor. 10:13

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Paul speaks about not being "unequally yoked" and strongly believe that Christians should not marry non-Christians. I've seen too many marriages not work because one partner was a Christian and the other was a non-Christian.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up 15 minutes from where I now live. I've only lived in two houses, the house I grew up in and the town house I bought after I graduated from college. My grandparents lived in Port Townsend, WA so I've been there twice, I've been to Michigan twice, Minnesota once and up and down the east coast numerous times. I've been in 5 Canadian Provinces. My favorite places to go are either the mountains or down the shore.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I sing in the adult choir and direct the children and youth choirs at my church. I'm also a junior high youth leader. I also enjoy reading.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I'm an elementary music teacher. I have approximately 600 kindergarten to third grade students in a public school. I also teach first grade reading. Between jr. high youth group, adult choir, children's & youth choir, I'm at church most of Sunday and 3-4 nights a week.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I would love to get married and have a family some day but my biggest goal is to follow where God leads me.
