Who am I?
Good question…I am a born again Christian lady that has been saved by grace and washed in His blood. I asked the Lord into my heart at the age of 15. I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. My parents still live there, even in the house where I grew up in. They are very involved in their church and taught us children about the love of God and learning to wait on Him. They are a walking testimony and I pray that I am a living testimony to those that cross my path. I love children and teenagers, I have a tremendous burden to show them the love of God and that He is the only way. I am not perfect nor do I claim to be. I make mistakes and do what I can to learn from them. I thank the Lord for making me and designing me for who I am. I strive to live my life for Him. I believe a child of God shouldn’t just talk about faith they should live it also. I love the outdoors and everything to do with nature for God created it and His handiwork is amazing. I love taking a walk through the woods or around a lake for I feel it brings me closer to my Heavenly Father. I enjoy sitting outside at night and watch the sun set or rise. God’s beauty is everywhere. I have learned to lay my treasures with God. He has taught me that he will always provide my needs, I may not know how till later but He has always provided just as His Holy Word says. I live my life one day at a time. God showed me how short life can be and that He only is in charge of it. He has showed me that children are His precious gift. I may not be able to have anymore kids but God has showed me that I can always adopt those that come my way through my children’s friends etc. My heart’s dream would be to have a sanctuary or refuge for children in need that they may learn about the love of God. Not sure what God has planned, I just know I have a deep desire. I am waiting on my Heavenly Father to show me His will for my life.
Now men word of advice. I am an old fashioned person. I was taught men opened the doors for a lady and that they treat her with respect. Sorry men but that also includes the dating and marriage part in life. I have strong values. I do not believe in sex outside of marriage nor do I believe that a man should touch a lady inappropriately outside of marriage. I do feel it is ok to hold hands, maybe a casual kiss, or an arm on the shoulder outside of marriage. Men if you are not real please don’t bother me. If you’re a wolf in sheep’s clothing God will show me and He has never failed me. I am a woman that strongly believes in the power of prayer and I trust God in every aspect in my life. If you haven’t read, Intercessory Prayer, by Dutch Sheets, I highly recommend it.
I can be funny and I love to laugh, I do however have the tendency to get to serious and need someone to snap me out of it. My youngest son is famous for giving me a laugh. I also have been taught it is the man’s place to make the move not a lady’s. In other words, if you want to talk to me you will have to email me. You might catch me on line when you least expect it. Someone who loves the Lord,a helpmate, companion, a best friend, confidante, someone that accepts me for who I am as I would them, Someone to laugh with and have fun, someone who is not afraid to be loved, cherished,trusting,someone who isn't afraid to talk out our differences and find a middle to settle on, someone for me to respect as I hope they would respect me,and someone who accepts my kids as I would theirs. Someone who wants to serve the Lord together.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith to me means everything. Without my faith in God there is no reason for being, no purpose for living. Without God’s love in my life I have nothing. I count it a blessing to be able to serve my Heavenly Father on a daily basis.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Jesus is first place in my life. I do what I can to serve Him and trust Him in His leading, guidance, and showing me His will in my life. I take His Holy Word as truth. Therefore, when it says, “Be ye not unequally yoke together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God. as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (KJV) Therefore, His Word is true and as He tells us in His Word that any relationship needs to be based on Him.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Beavercreek, Ohio. God blessed me in giving me wonderful christian parents. They love the Lord and know what it means to put God first in their life. They serve the Lord in their church and are such a testimony to others. They have been quite an inspiration to me. I have had been blessed in getting to travel over the US and Canada growing up. My most memorable time was camping and fishing in Michigan and Canada.
