My Ideal Person:
Someone with a lot of common sense and a good God-heart. I'm not particular about physical attributes or income...although good health, sweet nature (as I am and need someone who is not going to "kill" that), playful, adventuresome, fun loving, intelligent, industrious count for a lot. Someone who will take time for me from his busy schedule. I do have a busy schedule but can always MAKE time. I'm not looking for the "traditional" relationship, but more where decisions are shared, the concept is two becoming one with God in the center--but those individuals also retain their individuality. Where there is nothing that cannot be discussed.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My God does not live inside of buildings...He is not religious. His temple exists inside of the bodies of His people. I believe that God speaks to you--if you listen...and that He will move mountains for you if you need it. I believe He visits us. He spends time with us, if we will sit down and just let Him. For me its all about relationship--purely and sweetly a love relationship, and all that goes along with that level of intimacy. There is a good bit of nakedness in it--it means being transparent and allowing Him to move into personal spaces. For me the word "love" does not even begin to encompass it--it goes something beyond it, delight, cherish, worship...obsessed...submissive, willing...joyful...awestruck...tied to...how do you put all those together into just one word? Love doesn't do it. Love is in there, but it doesn't encompass it. I don't have a goal, when it comes to God, I have a direction...I am still growing and I always will be. I don't mind problems in life, I am a many-faceted being...I want to be like a diamond, glimmering His light back at him, a reflection of His own face--but diamonds are a very hard material, and if becoming one means hard polishing, chipping away at whatever is not pleasing, fire, pressure...so be it. It isn't about me.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
I think what hits me hardest in the Bible is the Sermon on the Mount...it spells out God's desires for what we are.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I am a very spiritual person--spirit driven--I have to keep those passions out of ordinary (work) life, I need someone who can honor that in me.

Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in the desert in Arizona. As for travel...38 states and all the southern provinces of Canada in a three year odyssey. Then six months on a 36-foot Rhodes design sloop...beautiful boat, mahoghany over oak strakes, bronze portlights. We started out in Barnegat Bay, NJ, in and out of little places, aroung the tip of Florida, through the Keys...up the west coast of Florida, and ended up in Mississippi when the rudder broke. I don't know if I have a favorite place, there's something special about every place you go.

What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
I volunteer on the crisis line for the women's shelter. I love my little church group. We're very small and tight-knit.

What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
My day...I work at a law office. Then I go home and work on my other two jobs, pretty much that's it for now...twould be nice to have someone to spend it with.

What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
Spiritual: My biggest personal goal is to get close to my creator...one life, one goal...here I am! I love you! Touch me! LOL...as for those other things...well, I just can't get past goal number one...I have learned that I cannot survive, I cannot turn either to the left nor to the right without Him...so howabout I give that choice to Him. Personal: I have a few (not large) bills to get cleared off my plate, and would like to build a little nest egg and then, quite frankly, will see where God leads me. I'd like to do some ministry or mission work.
