Widowed in 9/07. Moved from Charlotte, NC to present location related to memories. Retired nurse, presently taking courses online.
The Lord, the church, my puppy and reading are my passions.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for friendship. Good friends last a life time. I cannot imagine a further relationship with someone without that. Plus, this is a good way to find out if our interests mesh. I'm basically a home body. Like a clean house, and a person who plans.
I like travel, but since work and play have to each take their season, I don't seem to make time to travel much.
Looking for someone who makes God a priority.
Favorite television shows:
CSI
Favorite films:
Romantic
Favorite musicians or bands:
Jazz, Saxaphone.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
It's all in all, unfortunately, I cannot spend
24/7 in church. The only way I could be totally
satisfied is to make my home a church with the
presence of God there 24/7.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
John 1:1; John 3:16, Jeremiah 10:23.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
I have had the non-christian relationship and I
alway felt the "true" me had to take a back seat.
That's not good.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
SE Kentucky. Orient. California. Texas, Florida New York. A few other states. I like the beach...walking at night and early morning. I enjoyed theatre in New York. Actually, I like
to travel. It's a luxury to just get in the car and go visit...but that's a lonely thing for one
person.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Bible study, choir, anything that God is in.
Just keeping up with hearth and home.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
I'm at student presently. Monday-Wednesday, I
spend getting my homework done. If I'm lucky,
I can read and take care of business Thursday,
Friday. Sundays are in church. I try to keep
weekends free to do errands, eating out with
friends, see a movie...and still take care of
my puppy. I have things which I need to take
care of out of state, that's quarterly. Also,
I make sure to stay in touch with my children
and grandchildren.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
To miimize housework. I have done it too long and too much. To someday have a disciplined puppy. Get my certificate from school. Work
2 days per week.
To allow God to accomplish what He wants to in my
life...to finish my assignment for Him.
