I recently received an email that included the following:
“A woman’s heart should be so hidden in Christ that a man should have to seek Him first to find her.”
I really like that.
Do I believe it is possible for a person to achieve such a closeness with and in Jesus Christ that they are hidden in Him?
Yes I do. Do you?
I love to laugh. I have a great sense of humor, a great smile, and a quick wit.
I’m told I’m attractive and have great legs. I take care of my skin so I have few wrinkles. As for the rest of me… what can I say, I’m 48 years old and things just aren’t as “perky” as they were 25 years ago.
Some things I enjoy are: The outdoors (unless the weather is too cold and nasty), food that is well prepared, great conversation, walks, yard sales (sometimes), and some reading.
I also like to travel and see new places, especially with good company.
I have little use for regular tv, but do enjoy DVD’s.
I’ve been single for nearly 10 years. During that time I’ve worked quite hard to deal with any baggage from my past, in order to have as great a future as I possibly can. It is important to me to have a partner who cares enough about himself and his future to have done the same.
I’m a pretty straight forward person. I get along best with people who are good at communicating, don’t take life, or themselves too seriously, have a good sense of humor, love to laugh (even at themselves), and are not "needy".
Hey guys? I’ll say this as nicely as I can… If you are a man who is searching for a woman to “make you better” or somehow “heal you” of all your past pain, and are unwilling to dig in and do what it takes to get over the pains of your past, yourself, then I have neither the time nor the energy for that job.
I don’t play games, and I don’t read minds.
I have no addictions and will not be with someone who does.
I am willing to relocate for the right person.
