I am a 47 year old female, out of work right now due to a work injury a couple years ago. I am looking for a friend to talk to. I am a Christian and I love going to church when my injury will allow me to, but most of my friends are happily married. I enjoy fishing, camping, wood crafts, cooking, laying on the beach, picnics and just listening to the birds.. I guess I'm a little old fashioned and a bit of a mountain woman. I was born and raised in the blue ridge mountains of southern Virginia, and my up-bringing remains. I was thought the Bible at an early age,and I still believe it today. My life belongs to him. I'm only using the things he has blessed me with while I'm here and I thank him every day.My favorite Bible verses are John 8-12" I am the light of the world :he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness " and 2 Corinthians 5-17 "Therefore If any man be in Christ,he is a new creature." My favorite color is royal blue and my favorite flower is a tulip, I like to slow dance to The Eagles or John Michael Montgomery with someone special.

A man who loves God and family first. Caring , loving and honest. A man who is stable enough with himself to let someone else share whatever his true feelings are, and not afraid to admit if he makes a mistake. A strong enough man to cry or show emotion when he really feels it.
