My friends and family say that I am a fun loving person who is bright and intense, yet tender and sensitive. I am also child-like and silly when the occasion calls for it (I love to laugh a lot!). I am a people person, but enjoy my time by myself as well. I make the Lord the center of my life in being close to Him and seeking His guidance through-out each day, and in daily prayer and study. I attend church each Sunday, but also weekly small group, another Biblical study/growth group, and conferences. I also serve in the children's ministry and at NY Relief. I love to dance-ballet, jazz, swing, some ballroom, latin, hip-hop, etc. I also love to play sports such as tennis, but I have always enjoyed picking up other sports/games. I also like to bike, ski, canoe, white water raft, hike, and I work out regularly. Oh, and I love the beach and warm weather! I was a Financial Consultant previously, then a full time Mom. I'm a good steward and am financially in order and comfortable for now. But, do look forward to re-establishing myself in a rewarding career after enjoying this summer with my children (two teens). I am very open to another's children; I truly love children. I get down and play on the floor with the little ones I care for now, and get involved with the older ones in whatever their interests are, as I know that's the way into their worlds. But I do not plan to bear anymore children, nor do I foresee beginning an adoption process of a newborn at this point(for those of you who have not yet had children- this has been coming up in conversations). God Bless you and I in our searches, In Him. Susan Joy
My Ideal Person:
I am seeking a relationship that will lead to a healthy, happy, life-time marriage. I am interested in a man who is dedicated to the Lord and His precepts, is intelligent, fun, athletic and confident. I am 46 and am interested in a man who feels younger then his years as I do. But I think that over 58 would be pushing it for me as I want a lifetime mate. Longevity and great vitality run in my family.
