Profile update 03/31/08-I have had my hair cut short and have included a pic of it. I have decided to let it grow back out long so hopefully it wont be very long before it has grown out again. I am a Spriit-Filled, Christian woman with 2 grown children and 3 beautiful adopted grandchildren. I, like everyone else, am looking for REAL, TRUE LOVE. You know, the kind that lasts forever? I want a Godly man that can accept me, and my love, and treasure me as a gift from God. I need someone that is not hung up on "BEING RIGHT, HAVING THE LAST WORD, or PASSING BLAME". When we come to bumps in the road, it doesn't matter who's fault it is, let's just pull together, humble ourselves before God and fix it! Then we both come out WINNERS!! I'm looking for a man that can "feel". One that is not so hung up on "being a man" that he shuts his feelings off. In my opinion, a real man is one that can feel and think and has compassion and respect for others. He is strong enough to allow himself the respect to be weak when needed and he walks with his head held high no matter what. He walks not with his own self pride but with the strength from knowing God and living His commands. He, through the Holy Spirit, will strive to do his best and choose the right thing no matter the cost. I try and look to God's grace to allow me to give sacrificially to others and want someone that strives to do the same.
My Ideal Person:
The Lord has HUGE blessings coming my way and am thankful for the painful refining that God has done through me to make me a better person for him. It is my goal to give Him glory and honor in all that I do and say....dont get me wrong...I fail everyday, but it is still my desire and my goal to be pleasing to Him.
I enjoy music, nature, love camping, antiques, flea markets, gardening (I love a beautiful yard!)I love decorating(painting and/or wallpapering, remodeling) the house. I would love to have a handy man that will share a project with me. Maybe we could work on building a house together or something like that. I want someone that will teach me things and will does not feel threatened by me teaching him something.
I want my soul mate, my lover for life, the deepest, most intimate man that God has hand-picked for me, to share myself, my life, my God, my family and all that I have within me. I have HUGE blessings coming my way...and U DO TOO!!
