I have been a Christian for some time now and I must say I learn more everyday. I need him more everyday. Sometimes I do not realize it until I am in the middle of turmoil and he speaks to me.
Since moving to Utah I have had to rely on God more and more. I do not know anyone out here and he is all I have. I think it is important to be in that place sometimes, even though it is difficult and lonely at times, he is always there with me. He teaches me how to make it through the troubled times.
God is good! I do not want to sound like life is a tragedy. God has blessed me with a wonderful son and he loves the Lord. He is a big joy in my life. Utah is beautiful if not a little different (I am originally from Maryland), and God is molding me to be more like him even if at times I do not like the feeling.
I love to travel (though not 40 hours in a Uhaul) and I am excited about all of the new things I will get to see and do now that I am in the West. I love christian music and really like many, not all, types of music. I have a heart for missions and inner city ministry. I cannot wait to start serving here. God is my life and that is what I want him to be and need him to be. I know I cannot do it on my own. I AM BLESSED.
