First of all my spiritual side: I want to say that I am a dedicated beleiver, not perfect by no means, but secure in the knowledge that I am saved by grace through Jesus Christ. Not by my own works, but through the PERFECTION of God's Son, striving daily to serve him: a work in progress. NOW: "MY HUMAN SIDE"...Who am I???? I am a widow since June 06, through no choice of my own, but that awful word cancer. I must now abide by God's will and go on with my life. (sometimes I wonder, "but where?" Then I remember the scripture says, "Wait on the Lord." In the last couple of years I have learned life's aloneness, but I have also met some wonderful people. I guess at this stage of my life I am interested in learning more about "ME" and experiencing new and different adventures. My family, my church, and my friends are very important to me. I have always planned to travel when I retire, for the most part that remains to be seen. I also like to ballroom dance: the challenge of learning new steps is fun.(hopefully not forgetting) I enjoy walking and talking in an interesting conversation, listing to jazz music downtown. I love all kinds of music except rap and blue grass. I enjoy being pampered, yes... but please allow me to be strong and secure in myself. I also like exercrising and keeping myself fit, swimming, beaches, movies, shopping, inv estment shopping, etc. Seeing someone in need and assisting is a habit that has followed me and being there for a friend or stranger is an investment in the kingdom. But I have found that holding others responsible for themself, and encouraging them to fend for themself can not be over stated. However, kindness and respect for others make such a difference. Your character will never hide from you so I try to keep interegity in my life. I try to be me, never to be someone else and that is what I like in others, but there is a time for compromise. I love intelligent conversation and of course looks do count... thank you for reading my profile and maybe I will hear from you. Isn't that why we are on Big Church?
My Ideal Person:
Everyone that comes on big church is looking for companship, a friend, an eventually a loving mate to spend the rest of their lives with.We are looking for someone to be there when the times are good and when the times are bad. We are all the same. We are God's workmanship and that's the way he made us. There are different specifics however in all of us, different desires of our wants and needs, and that makes up the person we are. I would prefer someone that is physicial fit for health and looks sake. I would prefer someome that is neat in appeareance and organized. I could only choose someone that is a believer in Christ. Having an open forum of friendship as sharing in decisions and discussing problems is so important, so there could be, a time out for human errors, never let the sun go down without making up when disagreements happens. Always showing affection is a must. Everone and everything likes affectionate so surely partners should put that at the top of the list. Being faithful to God and each other may not be popular today but it is the right thing to do. Hope to hear from you.
