Most of my friends would say I have a strong sense of who I am and fun to be around. I love to laugh and have a good time. I strive to live my life according to the word of God. I am an honest woman through and through and can be taken at my word. I am who I say I am. I believe it's important for your words to match your actions.
I have two children and a dog.
On a date, I tend to enjoy dining out/ or in, quiet conversation, out with friends, going to the movies, going for ice cream, taking walks, playing cards with friends, going to concerts - just doing things together. I prefer casual dress, but can dress formal if the occasion requires it. That can be fun!
As for a daily exercise regimen, I prefer my Pilates with the ball workout. I like to walk my dog in the park, look for new recipes-as I enjoy cooking and baking (I'm a great cook), reading a good book, knitting, shopping, golfing, riding my bike, journaling, listening to music (classic rock, pop, country and christian), light gardening, sitting and talking around the campfire,canoing and horseback riding,(would really enjoy learning to ride, instead of riding horses that are trail trained).
I attend church weekly. For me, it is important to have daily devotions and spend time in prayer.
TV shows I enjoy most are drama series, such as CSI, Law and Order SVU and ER; movies (romance/ family and action/ suspense); and sports- Indiana Pacers and the Indianapolis Colts.
Long distance relationships I'm not convinced can work, but then again, God can do anything - if it's meant to be. I'm game if you are.
I currently work as a registered nurse, in the pre-admissions department, of an orthopedic surgery center. I used to work in the surgical recovery room, but took the job in pre-adm. because it was full-time. I really enjoy what I do.
Something I would like to add is something I found that describes the kind of woman I am and the kind of man I would like in return.
I AM THE WOMAN...That can't stop thinking about you when we're apart. I'm the woman who couldn't take her eyes off of you across the room...Stealing glances as I talk with others. I'm the woman your parents/family/children would love, and would love them in return. I am the woman you can trust and who will treat you with respect. I'm the woman that prays with you each time we get together and for you when we are apart. I'm the woman that's good by herself, but at my best when I'm with you. I'm the woman who loves music and a good concert in the summertime. I'm the woman who would love to travel and see places she's never seen before. I'm the woman that motivates you to be your best and do everything with excellence. I'm the woman who holds your hand in public. I'm the woman who is affectionate and spontaneous. I'm the woman that loves to spoil her special friend. I'm the woman that loves to cook for you, but loves to cook with you. I'm the woman...Who could be yours...
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for someone who wants to take it slow in developing a relationship. I enjoy going out on dates, but my real reason for being on this site is to establish a serious relationship, with the hopes of marriage in the future.
Life is a gift and I want to share it with someone who loves the Lord and who will love and respect me with his whole heart. He will be a man of integrity, faithful in a committed relationship, a gentleman, kind and considerate, willing to give of himself, and loves hugging, kissing and holding of hands. He will want to kiss me as the years pass and I get older and stand beside me through adversity. He will be able to make decisions, be organized, goal-oriented and be in good physical shape. Physical attraction is important.
If he has young children at home and is looking for a mother for them, I am not that woman. I love children, I just like where mine are at right now - teenager/young adult.
Financial security and stability are very important to me.
Traveling and learning to ride horses are two things I would like to do in the near future.
The launch of my own cookie company is a dream of mine.(My chocolate chip cookies - my original recipe- always gets people telling me they are the best they've ever tasted and that I should sell them).
