48 year old Woman in Oswego, Illinois, United States Looking For: Men for a dating relationship or marriage

Profile for bodytrainer
About me . . . wish someone would write this for me. OK, I've been single for 3 years and live in the Western burbs of Chicago. I have 3 boys - the youngest is still at home. I love my work and love my play time. Don't tell me your passionate about life - too general - what revs you up? Winds you down? Makes you happy? What is the one or couple subjects that people think . . . will this guy ever take a breath? Tell me something truthful, honest and accurate - that's when I stop speed reading. And lastly, if you're still with me, I don't need you to tell me you're attractive - I can figure that out - if you have to tell me, you're probably not.

I LOVE to travel. A new place each time is great. Weekend getaways. I am as spontaneous as a reliable/dependable person can be. There's so much I haven't seen or done and I feel like this new chapter is going to be an exciting/fulfilling ride. My 'glass' is always half-full, I am easy to be with, will probably make you comfortable, like music (but stink at 'name this artist' games - I just respond that every song is the Eagles!) I am very close to my family, who for the most part is local. And speaking of local, and this is important. You need to be! Within a 100 miles or hopefully less. I have no idea how to form a relationship with someone that I can't spend time with and hang out with and impulsively do fun things with. I am not a cyber dater. I need the real stuff - the real you.

OK, that's a novel. So, I'll end here. If any of this interests you, you know what to do.

My Ideal Person:
When I project where I will be in the future I always see myself as married. And for sure, down to my very core, I know that my husband will be the spiritural head of our house, that a successful, happy, till death-do-us-part marriage is a triangle rather than a dual partnership. Not to freak you out - but that's down the road. That is not what interests me now but I think it's important for you, as a casual observer to understand what I see and value. But for now, I am not looking to rush into anything. I am looking to date. Date. Is that term still in the dictionary? Not to be confused with hooking up. I'm looking for someone to connect with, start slow, share ideas, laughter, common activities and pleasures.

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
It is THE top priority in my fluid, terminal world.

Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Jer 29:11-14 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come to pray to me. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord. 1Cor 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. But God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
Because I tried for years without it. It's just too exhausting. I married young and when I people said you should marry someone with the same values - I could only understand worldly values (like environmentally conscious) or character traits. There was a whole upper layer I did not have a grasp on.
